Event Details
Date: Sunday 19 July
Time: 10:30 am – 1 pm
Location: Bungendore NSW (address provided upon booking)
About This Experience
Chef Christophe's truffle farm in Bungendore, just a short drive from Canberra, comes alive each winter with the magic of the French black truffle season. Join us for discovery, storytelling, and exquisite truffle flavours, beginning outdoors in the crisp country air and ending around the long table with a classic French brunch.
Your Morning, Moment by Moment
Arrive & Meet Largo
Rug up in warm clothes and sturdy shoes — you're heading outdoors. You'll be greeted by Largo, Chef Christophe's spirited Border Collie and resident truffle expert, ready to lead the truffle hunt.
The Truffle Hunt
Watch in wonder as Largo scents out hidden black truffles beneath the soil. Feel free to reward him with a game of fetch; it's his favourite part of the job.
Live Cooking Demonstration
Gather around in the warmth of the indoors as Chef Christophe prepares his signature Œufs Brouillés à la Truffe, a traditional French soft egg brouillard, luxuriously velvety and deeply fragrant with freshly unearthed truffle.
Long-Table Brunch
Sit down together for a rustic French feast — egg brouillard on a warm baguette, lashings of shaved fresh truffle on top, a fresh salad, and your choice of tea or coffee. As you dine, Christophe shares stories from the farm, kitchen tips for cooking with truffles, and the art behind growing them.
Shop & Farewell
Before you leave, browse and purchase Chef Christophe's freshly harvested truffles alongside his handcrafted pantry — truffle butter, truffle salt. A beautiful way to carry the experience home.

Liberté, Égalité, GourmandiseA Bastille Day Celebration
What better way to mark Bastille Day than a French table, shared with good company and exceptional wine?
On the evening of Tuesday 14 July, Chef Christophe Grégoire and winemaker Céline Rousseau of Eden Road Wines come together to celebrate the flavours of France — with a touch of Australian magic woven in.
Chef Christophe has designed a five-course menu that pays homage to the traditions of French cuisine, and in some of the dishes, you'll find something very special: truffles harvested from his own farm in Bungendore. Each course is thoughtfully matched to a premium Eden Road wine, selected by Céline herself, a meeting of two producers who share a deep respect for craft, provenance, and the pleasure of the table.
The evening begins at 5.30 pm at Eden Road's winery on the Barton Highway, Murrumbateman — a beautiful setting in the Canberra District.
We look forward to celebrating with you.
