There is something wonderfully indulgent about escaping a Canberra winter evening to lose yourself in the warmth of the French countryside, and that is exactly what we are offering you.
Join us for a special French Movie Night screening of La Dégustation (2022), a charming rom-com set among the vineyards of France. Jacques is divorced, his small winery is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, and life feels rather uncertain, until the determined and delightful Hortense walks through his door and signs up for a tasting workshop. What follows is funny, warm, and thoroughly French.
Come early, settle in with a drink, and try your luck at the lucky door prizes before the film begins. And because no evening with us would be complete without something from Christophe's kitchen, each guest will receive one of his handmade macarons citron salé, a salted lemon macaron.
